About Maxiraw Casein Sustain
Casein Sustain 2.5kg is a high-quality casein product which is ideal to take when a slow-release protein is desired. Casein sustain is broken down at a slower rate compared to whey protein, making it ideal for use before bed.
The Science behind Casein
Casein, termed as a 'slow' releasing protein, like whey is derived from milk protein. In fact, milk is 80% Casein and 20% Whey protein. Casein, when ingested, coagulates to form a gel in the stomach, which is slowly digested and provides a trickle feed of amino acids into the blood stream and eventually into the muscles.
When to use Maxiraw Casein
Often casein is used at night to help provide a slow release of protein through the hours of sleep, the habitual fast that most people go through on a daily basis. This night-time feed helps to maintain protein balance and reduce muscle protein breakdown.
Recommended Usage
Add 30g (1 level MaxiRAW large scoop) to 200ml water, shake and consume. Take 1-3 servings per day or as required. It is recommended to consume one serving before bed.
