Handy to have although the powdery texture and taste is a little hard to stomach, that said I've only had the one so I'm sure I'll get used to them. Blueberry smoothie flavour definitely comes through enough to make them fairly enjoyable. Got a box with the starter kit, at the moment it's debatable whether I'd buy a box by it's onesy although I'd probably recommend it on the basis I can be a bit fussy with my foods haha.

Tastes Great, Good Nutritional Profile

I tried one for the first time today so I can't say anything about gains or results but looking at the profile it seems great. Reason for this review is I was seriously impressed by the taste!! Seriously nice flavour and texture. Kinda chewy like the stuff in a Lion bar! I got the choc-orange flavour and it is seriously nice! Plus it's sweetened with taltitol which is a natural low GI sweetner, unlike other brands who use synthetic sweetners which are bad for you. This shows that MM really knows it's stuff and selects ingredients carefully. Not too sweet either, just enough to make it nice, great balance. With a chocolate orange coating you can't go wrong! The price does seem a little high but I justified this to myself by thinking... how much would it cost to buy the amount of good quality eggs, beef or chicken etc to equate 21g of protein? Not much difference really and it's so convinient. Another excellent product, highly reccomended.

This is a great tasting protein bar and I eat these often. The are good for a snack to boost daily protein intake or as an on the go meal replacement. They can be pricey so i tend to buy when the special offers are on.

In the past I was at a cunundrum as to the Maximuscle protein bar. They are fantastic to have as you could take them anywhere and not worry about having to mix them with water before consuming. Only problem was that I had found the chocolate protein bars to be way too rich, thick and a little bitter. Now Maximuscle had managed to come up with something that has solved this little problem! The Blueberry Smoothie! It is just amazing! Soft, creamy, and buttery sweet! I love it! Only problem now is addiction...

The combination of chocolate and orange is good, it is packed with enough protein to be consumed after workout and meals or breakfast. Some what on the expensive side, its good if you can afford it.
